DOAC (direct oral anticoagulants) sind neuere direkt wirkende orale Gerinnungshemmer. Auch die Bezeichnung NOAC wird benutzt. Sie steht für “novel oral anticoagulants” oder “Non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants” (=non-VKA oral anticoagulants).
